Job Description

As a restaurant line cook, you will be a key member of our culinary team, responsible for preparing high-quality dishes that meet the restaurant's standards of excellence. Working closely with the head chef and sous chefs, you will be tasked with executing a diverse menu, utilizing your culinary skills and attention to detail to deliver exceptional food to our guests. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and collaborate with the kitchen staff will contribute to the smooth operation of our restaurant and the satisfaction of our guests.
 

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with the restaurant's recipes and quality standards.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Execute food orders with precision and speed, maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
- Collaborate with chefs and other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Manage food inventory and stock rotation to maintain freshness and minimize waste.
- Work proactively to contribute to a positive and supportive kitchen environment.
- Assist in the development and refinement of menu items and specials, offering creative input and culinary expertise.
- Ensure compliance with portion control standards and food handling procedures.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation and plating.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a culture of teamwork and professionalism.
