Job Description
As a restaurant food runner, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of food to guests. Your primary responsibility is to collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to coordinate the flow of food from the kitchen to the table. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the seamless operation of the restaurant and enhance the overall dining experience for guests.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to understand the order flow and prioritize food preparation and delivery.
- Verify accuracy and completeness of food orders before delivering them to the appropriate tables.
- Communicate effectively with servers to coordinate the timing of food delivery and ensure that each guest receives their order promptly.
- Ensure that all food items are properly garnished and presented before serving to the guests.
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor while delivering food, ensuring a positive and friendly interaction with guests.
- Clear empty dishes and utensils from tables between courses, providing a clean and organized dining area.
- Respond promptly to any additional requests or needs from guests, forwarding special requests to the appropriate server or manager.

- Assist with other tasks as assigned, such as preparing takeout orders, restocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant.
