Job Description

As a restaurant busser/bar-back, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining room and bar area. Your primary responsibility is to clear and reset tables, assist servers and bartenders, and ensure that guests have a clean and enjoyable dining experience. Your attention to detail and ability to work efficiently will contribute to the overall smooth operation of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

- Clear and reset tables promptly and efficiently following established procedures.
- Assist servers and bartenders by delivering food and beverages to tables when necessary.
- Remove dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils from tables, ensuring proper sorting and disposal.
- Perform table maintenance tasks such as refilling water glasses, providing additional utensils, and adjusting table settings.
- Clean tables, chairs, and other surfaces thoroughly to maintain a clean and presentable dining area.
- Monitor and restock supplies such as napkins, condiments, and utensils to ensure availability for guests.
- Support bartenders by restocking supplies, such as glassware, ingredients, and garnishes.
- Assist with the preparation of beverages, including pouring drinks, cutting fruits, and handling ice.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including wiping down counters and bar equipment.
- Collaborate with coworkers and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the management team.
