Job Description

As a restaurant server, your primary responsibility is to provide exceptional customer service and create a positive dining experience for guests. You will play a vital role in welcoming, guiding, and serving guests throughout their meal while delivering prompt and accurate food and beverage service. Your friendly demeanor and attention to detail will ensure that guests feel valued and satisfied during their visit.

Responsibilities

- Take food and beverage orders accurately, using suggestive selling techniques to enhance the guest experience.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately, ensuring proper presentation and temperature.
- Attend to guest needs throughout the meal, responding to inquiries, and providing recommendations as requested.
- Monitor and anticipate guest needs, ensuring a well-paced dining experience.
- Upsell and promote menu items, daily specials, and promotions to increase revenue.
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, resetting tables and assisting with overall cleanliness of the restaurant.
- Uphold knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to address guest queries accurately.
- Resolve any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
