Job Description
We are searching for a dynamic and experienced full-time floor manager for Bar Japonais! A polished individual with extensive knowledge of Japanese and French cuisines and beverages. A manager who will be an exemplary leader and inspire the team to strive for perfection. Someone with extreme professionalism and drive, who is passionate about the food and beverage industry, and likes to have a good time!
Bar Japonais is not due to open until January 2024, however, employement for this position would begin 3-4 months prior for training, opening, etc.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the floor 5 shifts per week - ensuring proper guest experience, handling complaints and concerns in a professional manner, overlooking employees and quality control
- Managing a team of 30-40 employees
- Putting in place systems, manuals, and standard operating procedures
- Maintaining set COGS goals
- Inventory of supplies
- Assisting in recruiting, hiring and training of new staff
- Making schedules for staff and keeping track of schedule requests
